 Applications For West Virginia’S Third Judicial Circuit Vacancy Under Review By Advisory Commission

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The Judicial Vacancy Advisory Commission has received seven applications for the vacancy in the Third Judicial Circuit serving the counties of Ritchie, Doddridge, and Pleasants. The deadline for submission of applications was Oct. 25, 2010; however, letters of recommendation will continue to be accepted until Nov. 15, 2010.

The Judicial Vacancy Advisory Commission will conduct interviews of candidates on Nov. 16, 2010, at the state Capitol in Charleston, W.Va. Each candidate selected for an interview will be notified in writing.

Please note, applications are no longer being accepted, and letters of recommendation received after the deadline will also be void. Letters of recommendation are to be submitted to: Judicial Vacancy Advisory Commission, c/o Jonathan Deem, General Counsel, Office of the Governor, 1900 Kanawha Boulevard, East, Charleston, W.Va. 25305.
