The Shops at Inwood Farmers’ Market will host a first of its kind West Virginia Wine & Artisan Show Friday and Saturday, December 3 and 4, from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. each day. Twenty food, wine and artisan vendors will be set up in the warehouse area of the Market to give demonstrations and offer free samples. WLTF Lite 97.5 FM will also have a live remote from the market from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday. A feature of the West Virginia Wine & Artisan Show will be glass blowing demonstrations by Appalachian Glass throughout both days of the event.
“Farmers’ markets today are more than just a place to pick up fresh, seasonal produce. They’re a place to find top-quality, locally made products throughout the year,” said Commissioner of Agriculture Gus R. Douglass.
Promotional offers include a free West Virginia Grown Wine Glass with wine purchase and a free West Virginia Grown tote bag with a $30 purchase (while supplies last)."
The Shops at Inwood Farmers’ Market are located at 178 Pilgrim St. in Inwood, just off Exit 5 of I-81. Special Market hours during the Show will be 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday. Regular Market hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturdays. For more information, call 304-229-5011.
