About Camp Creek State Park
“Folks are amazed to find a park of this quality just three miles from a major interstate,” said Park Supt. Adam McKeown . “They discover a campground, a place to ride horses, fishing, and play areas.”

Camp Creek State Park and Camp Creek State Forest are recognized as a multi-use area. “The forest allows hunting, as do all state forests, and the forest has trails for hiking and biking. The park maintains the recreational aspects of the combined area.”

Camp Creek State Park has three campgrounds: Mash Fork, Blue Jay, and Double C Horse and Rider. Mash Fork is a 26-site campground with 19 electric hookup sites and seven sites with water and electric hookups, bathhouse, laundry, camp store.

Mash Fork is open year-round, weather permitting. Blue Jay Campground features 13 rustic campsites and there are no hookups. “It’s a great tent area and preferred by the true outdoorsman," McKeown said.

Double C Horse and Rider Campground has 14-sites and is for horseback riders only. This campground area features approximately 40 miles of trails for equestrians. “If you are trailering a horse, you camp at Double C Horse Rider,” McKeown explained. “We're proud to be able to offer this type of camping service."

Other recreational facilities at the state park include: picnic sites, picnic shelters, hiking trails, game courts for basketball, volleyball and horseshoes, and stream fishing. An accessible pond is on site for Class Q licensed anglers.
