PIPESTEM, W.Va. –
Pipestem State Park's new
Canyon Rim Café is now open at McKeever Lodge. Featuring a coffee and sandwich menu, frequent morning hours, free Wi-Fi, televisions and outdoor seating, the casual eatery gives park guests and visitors to the Summers County area even more variety in dining choices.
"This is not your average park snack bar, but is a very modern, colorful, and energetic place to enjoy a quick breakfast, lunch, or dinner,” according to Supt. Dave Caplinger.
The opening of Canyon Rim Café gives the park four restaurants to choose from, including the full service
Bluestone Dining Room, the elegant
Mountain Creek Restaurant, and
Mulligan's at the golf course clubhouse. The Bluestone Dining Room and Canyon Rim Café are open year-round.
Canyon Rim Café hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily until Labor Day, and also on weekends until Oct. 30. Weekdays from Labor Day to Oct. 30, it will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the winter months it will be open daily 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pipestem Resort State Park is located in Summers County between Athens and Hinton.
