Governor Earl Ray Tomblin to Deliver State of the State Address

Beginning at 7 p.m. Jan. 11, 2012, Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin will deliver the State of the State Address.
- The speech is expected to last approximately 45 minutes.
It will be broadcast on West Virginia Public Television (coordinates: AMC 9 TRANSPONDER K20A) and West Virginia Public Radio among other media outlets in the state. PLEASE NOTE: The satellite feed will have the governor and West Virginia Public Television commentary (open and close) on channel one of the audio and the governor and natural sound on channel two of the audio. The speech will be closed captioned and free for unrestricted use.
*This will be the 13th consecutive State of the State address to be broadcast live on the Internet. To view the address, Internet users should visit the home page of the Governor's Office (www.governor.wv.gov). The speech can be viewed using Adobe Flash player which can be found at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.
*Photos of the event will be posted online, after the address.
*Copies of the prepared text of the address will be available immediately following the address on the Governor's Web site.
*Hard copies of the text address will be available to credentialed members of the press in the House Chamber just before the speech begins.
