Governor Orders All U.S. and State Flags Remain Lowered

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin today issued a proclamation further ordering all U.S. and State flags currently displayed at half-staff in honor of former West Virginia Gov. Hulett C. Smith, to remain at half-staff until dusk on Jan. 27, 2012, the day of services.
Smith, West Virginia's 27th governor, died Jan. 15, 2012 at the age of 93. He served as governor from 1965 until 1969.
