Governor Tomblin, South Carolina Governor Haley Make Friendly Wager

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin accepted South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley's friendly wager on the 2012 Discover Orange Bowl between West Virginia University (WVU) and Clemson University. Up for grabs is a basket of goodies representing West Virginia's unique heritage and talents from Gov. Tomblin should the Tigers win and from South Carolina, shrimp and grits from Gov. Haley, should the Mountaineers be victorious.
"Joanne and I wish both teams the best of luck as they take the field at the Discover Orange Bowl. I look forward to joining fellow alumni, students and fans to cheer on the West Virginia University Mountaineers at what is sure to be an exciting game," said Gov. Tomblin. "I am confident I will be enjoying one of South Carolina's finest culinary treats, courtesy of Gov. Haley, after the game."
The West Virginia University Mountaineers and the Clemson University Tigers will play in the 2012 Discover Orange Bowl, January 4, 2012 at 8 p.m.
