CHARLESTON, W.Va. -Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin today joins TRG Customer Solutions in announcing that the company plans to create up to 300 new jobs in West Virginia. TRG made the announcement during a press event and open house today at the Beckley facility.
TRG is a leading global business process outsourcing provider of customer management solutions and technologies.
The expansion calls for the immediate addition of 150 jobs in Beckley. TRG will host an open house for job seekers on Jan. 18 and 19, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the facility on 251 Gray Flats Road. By April, TRG expects to have added a total of 300 new jobs.
"I am pleased that TRG continues to grow in West Virginia and provide the kind of good jobs that our people seek," said Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin. "The company's decision to expand its workforce here further demonstrates its confidence in our strong and stable business environment and in the work ethic of our citizens."
TRG centers in Beckley, Charleston and Elkins currently employ nearly 1,000 people.
"TRG is glad to have this opportunity to renew our commitment to the workforce in southern West Virginia," said Michael Lewis, director of operations. "We look forward to filling these new positions with applicants who are serious about building a career with us."
The staffing buildup is the result of the renewal of a long-term contract.
TRG is currently investing $200,000 to remodel and refurbish the Beckley facility.
