Governor Tomblin Applauds News of Jobs Coming to Parkersburg

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin today applauded the news that the United States Department of the Treasury's Bureau of Public Debt will be adding 450 jobs to their operations in Parkersburg.
"This is great news for the Parkersburg area and all of West Virginia. Our workforce in Parkersburg has provided quality service at a competitive cost for many years. They have earned this opportunity through their hard work."
The Governor also thanked Sen. Rockefeller and Sen. Manchin for their leadership in convincing the Department of the Treasury to consolidate these additional jobs into the Wood County facility.
