Governor Tomblin Calls Special Session Works to Reopen Century Aluminum

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -Just hours after Century Aluminum retirees approved a new proposal to reinstate partial health benefits, Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin today applauded their collaboration with the company and calls a special session to consider legislation designed to ease Century's anticipated electricity costs. The Extraordinary Session shall convene immediately upon the adjournment of the previously extended 2012 Regular Session.
