Governor Tomblin Issues Statement on the Passing of Lloyd G. Jackson, Sr.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin today issued the following statement regarding the passing of former Senate President Lloyd G. Jackson, Sr.
"I was saddened to learn of the passing of Lloyd G. Jackson, Sr. He was a distinguished member of the West Virginia Legislature, having served the 7th Senatorial District with great distinction. As President, Lloyd led the Senate with great passion and was highly regarded by his fellow Senators. Joanne and I send our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the Jackson family. Lloyd will truly be missed, and will long be remembered for his dedicated service to our great state."
