CHARLESTON, W.Va. -Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and First Lady Joanne Jaeger Tomblin invite everyone to join in the fun at the Easter Carnival at the Capitol grounds on Saturday, April 16th.
"Each Spring families gather to celebrate Easter," Gov. Tomblin said. "This carnival will bring our big West Virginia family together for a few hours of fun and fellowship that all members of the family can enjoy."
From 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16th, the North Plaza of the State Capitol Complex will be transformed into a carnival complete with games, prizes, sweet treats and, of course, an appearance by the Easter Bunny.
Tickets are not required to attend. Door prizes, for children 12 years old and under, will be awarded at Noon.
