LOGAN, W.Va. – “Elvis Presley” returns in a dinner theater format at Chief Logan Lodge on Saturday, Feb. 12. Wrenn Mangum, a solo singer and entertainer from Richmond, Va., will use his microphone, guitar and amp for his “Tribute to Elvis Presley.” Magnum, who authentically salutes the original rockabilly music artists of the 1950s, creates an atmosphere of innocence and excitement with his performance.
The evening at Chief Logan Lodge includes a Valentine’s Dinner Buffet with stuffed shells, roast beef and marinated chicken entrees, a variety of sides and desserts and a beverage. “‘We will offer a Valentine’s Buffet in the lodge restaurant on Saturday, Feb. 12, as well as for the Dinner Theater is our banquet hall,” said Cathy Fout, Chef at Chief Logan Lodge. “Our Valentine desserts include sweets dipped in European chocolate. They’re wonderful.”
In keeping with the Elvis Tribute, the dinner theater will follow a ‘50s theme. The conference center decorations, servers and lodge staff will be dressed for the ‘50s. Door prizes are part of the evening festivities. For individuals wanting a more intimate setting Saturday evening, the restaurant will be open to the public and serving a buffet similar to the special meal served for the Dinner Theater in the Conference Center.
The Tribute to Elvis Dinner and Show package includes overnight accommodations at Chief Logan Lodge in queen or king rooms, dinner for two, Elvis Tribute entertainment by Wrenn Mangum, and continental breakfast. The cost per couple is $119.
