The West Virginia Department of Agriculture (WVDA) will host the second annual “West Virginia Wine and Artisan Show” at the Shops at Inwood Farmers’ Market Friday and Saturday, December 2-3, from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. each day.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to show its support of local businesses during the holiday season,” said Commissioner of Agriculture Gus R. Douglass. “We had a great turnout for this event last year, and I hope we’ll do as well again this year.”
Free samples and demonstrations will be offered by 16 vendors, including wine tastings from noon - 6 p.m. each day. Other promotions include a free West Virginia Department of Agriculture Centennial wine glass with the purchase of two bottles, and free West Virginia Grown tote bags with a $30 or more purchase, while supplies last.
There will also be glass blowing exhibitions by Appalachian Glass and a live radio remote on WLTF-FM from 10 a.m. - noon on Saturday.
