 Livestock Auction Market Public Hearing Scheduled

Agriculture Commissioner Gus R. Douglass announced a public hearing has been scheduled to receive comments on the issuance of a permit to allow Mr. Floyd Conley of 607 Myrtle Road in Gallagher, W.Va., to operate the former New River Livestock Market in Beckley, W.Va. The hearing will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at the Gus R. Douglass Agriculture Center located at 217 Gus R. Douglass Lane in Guthrie near Sissonville, W.Va.

If you would like to comment about the issuance of this permit, you may appear in person at the hearing or write to Agriculture Commissioner Gus R. Douglass, WVDA, 1900 Kanawha Blvd., E., Charleston, W.Va., 25305, on or before March 29, 2011.
