 Miners’ Health, Safety and Training Accepting Applications for Examinations

Charleston, W.Va. – The West Virginia Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training (OMHST) is accepting applications for examinations for mine safety instructor and mine electrical inspector positions. Applications and experience verification information are due at the agency’s Charleston office by 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, 2010.

Examinations for the positions are administered by the Mine Inspectors’ Examining Board.

Applications are available at the OMHST website, www.wvminesafety.org, or by sending a written request for application to OMHST, c/o Tina Miller, 1615 Washington Street East, Charleston, WV 25311.

Applications include information on the qualification requirements for the positions. All applicants must be residents of West Virginia.
