Farmington, W.Va. – Forestry assistance is just a phone call away for Mineral County residents. Anyone with questions or needing help with a forestry matter may call the Romney office at 304.822.4512. Although the county’s Division of Forestry office has relocated from Keyser to Romney, Regional Forester Rudy Williams guarantees the service will not suffer.
“The Division of Forestry continues to efficiently and effectively serve the residents of Mineral County,” Williams said.
The relocation of the Keyser field office to the Romney regional office is in line with the Division of Forestry’s reorganization plan that started in 2005. Williams said the relocation is a cost-saving move.
Forester Mike Bonner continues to serve the Mineral County area. He may be reached at the Romney office by phone at 304.822.4512, by e-mail at
Michael.F.Bonner@wv.gov and by post at 1 Depot Street, Romney, WV 26757.
