CHARLESTON, W.Va. The Wood Education and Resource Center in Princeton, W.Va., will host a leadership workshop on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, entitled 'Leadership Conference for Promoting Locally Made U.S. Wood Products.'
Representatives of private industry, public forestry associations, industry support associations and economic development organizations are invited to attend. Topics will include branding programs, effective marketing strategies, the role of supporting economic development groups and more. The fee for this workshop is $35 per person and lunch is included.
Harry Watt, a business improvement specialist in the Wood Products Extension office of North Carolina State University (NCSU), will conduct the workshop.
