 Burn Demonstration Postponed 

2/8/2011 

Please be advised that the burn demonstration scheduled for Wednesday, February 9th,
at 2:00 on the north side of the Capitol has been postponed due to projected inclement weather.

With wind chills projected as being in the lower 20’s tomorrow, there have been safety concerns about water from fire hoses freezing and creating ice on the pavement, as well as concerns about the sprinkler pipes freezing and not operating correctly.

An identical demonstration is being planned sometime during the WV Public Safety Expo in May at the Charleston Civic Center.
