State Farm Museum Hosting Antique Gas Engine Show May 4-5
The West Virginia State Farm Museum will host an Antique Gas Engine Show Saturday and Sunday, May 4-5, from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. each day at the Museum grounds, just north of Point Pleasant.
“It’s difficult to plot a course for the future of agriculture in West Virginia if we don’t understand its past,” said Commissioner of Agriculture Walt Helmick. “The Farm Museum offers a glimpse into our rich agricultural heritage and when they host special events such as the Gas Engine Show, it makes for an even more enjoyable visit.”
The show will also feature a sawmill demonstration, church services in the log church Sunday morning with Larry Powell and musical performances. The Museum’s country store and country kitchen will both be open throughout the event.
