MULLENS, W.Va. – Bring in 2011 at Twin Falls State Park this December 31 and enjoy dinner, dancing and celebration. “The park’s annual New Year’s Eve event will be a good party and nice time to be staying at the park,” according to activities coordinator Ken Vance.
The package includes: one night of lodging at Twin Falls State Park, dinner and dance, evening refreshments, champagne toast at midnight, party favors and music provided by DJ Superman. A cash bar offering beer and wine will be provided by the Twin Falls Restaurant. Overnight accommodations are available in either Twin Falls Lodge or vacation cabins.
New Year’s Celebration prices are based on double occupancy. For a couple staying one night in the lodge, the package is $189.50. Cabin and other package prices are also available.
Twin Falls State Park is located in Wyoming County and currently features a 20-room lodge, 14-vacation cottages, an 18-hole golf course, hiking and biking trails and a full-service restaurant. “The additional lodge rooms are almost completed,” says Vance. “People enjoying this New Year at the park will check in using the new lobby area and enjoy use of the fitness room.” The indoor guest pool and new rooms are not completed, but park staff takes anyone interested on facility tours as they anticipate completion by this spring.
