WVDHHR Bureau for Child Support Enforcement receives federal incentive funds

The DHHR Bureau for Child Support Enforcement has been awarded over $4.7 million in incentive funds from the Federal Government.
The Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement presents the awards to child support agencies in states and territories based on their performance on five objective program measures.
The most recent rankings show West Virginia’s BCSE as 6th in the nation for paternity establishment, 14th for establishment of support obligations, 16th for collection of current support, 2nd for arrearage cases with a payment and 23rd in cost effectiveness.
Previous year’s awards were $4.2 million for 2009 and $4.12 million for 2008.
