 Where there’s snow, Canaan Valley Resort has your ski weekend planned

DAVIS, W.Va. – Canaan Valley Resort takes full advantage of this year’s natural snowfall and snowmaking. “There’s still a lot of skiing opportunity this winter,” said Lisa Ratliff, director of sales at the four-season resort. “Special events, packages and activities are part of the attraction to the park in addition to the scenic beauty of the area. Our event schedule is packed in 2011 and early March is no exception.” Some of Canaan Valley’s upcoming events and deals include:

Weekend of February 26
Hit the slopes this weekend at Canaan Valley Resort and take advantage of the Stay and Ski Deal on Saturday, February 26. A $75 per person (double occupancy) fee includes Saturday night lodging and choice Saturday or Sunday lift ticket. Canaan Valley has a “book online” option or call the park at (800) 622-4121 for more information.

March Madness - Stay & Ski Free
The March Madness package at Canaan Valley Resort is available March 1 - 12. The package includes one night’s lodging, next day lift ticket, plus Beech Club usage/inclusive and is $49 per person/per night based on double occupancy.

Wild Thing Weekend March 4-6
Go wild on the slopes at Canaan Valley Resort with eating contests, boarder cross races, lollipop and saucer races for the kids, and the Infamous Pond Jump. New this season is a costume contest and parade on Sunday at 11 a.m. that includes awards for crowd favorite, most original, youngest and oldest participant.
