 Capitol Food Court Opened its Doors Today at 7 A.M. 

1/10/2008  CHARLESTON, W.Va – The Department of Administration announced today is the official opening of the Capitol Food Court, located in the basement of the State Capitol.

The hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. for breakfast; 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. for morning snack; and 11:00 a.m. – 2 p.m. for lunch. Approximately 300 indoor seats are available in the recently renovated establishment for state employees, legislators and visitors.

The food court offers various food stations including:

  • Charleston Deli: “Made to order” deli sandwiches and panini selections
  • Blue Ridge Grill and Pizza: Upscale grill selections to include certified Black Angus burgers and steak sandwiches to flat bread pizza selections
  • Wild and Wonderful Greens: Features continental breakfast selections with hot breakfast cereals and “build your own” soup and salad bar for lunch
  • Blackwater Coffee Bar: An espresso Bar featuring specialty and flavored coffee
  • Panhandle Market: Chef’s action station featuring “made to order” morning omelets and an array of sautéed side dishes and stir-fry for lunch
