Dunbar, W.Va - The West Virginia State Agency for Surplus Property will conduct a public auction on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at 2700 Charles Avenue in Dunbar. Gates to the auction site will open at 9 a.m., with the sale beginning promptly at 10 a.m.
Among state property going on the auction block will be 32 vehicles, including eight Jeep Cherokees and five Ford Crown Victorias. Equipment to be sold includes a South Bend metal lathe with a five-foot bed; a Challenge paper drill; a band saw with ¾" cutting capability; a maintenance platform; a Mercury Optimax 225-horsepower boat motor; computer equipment; and office furniture.
Potential bidders may inspect the sale property through Friday, February 29, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Dunbar location. Payment on the day of the auction may be made by cash, check, and Visa/MasterCard. All property is subject to prior sale.
