CHARLESTON, W.Va. – As part of an annual tribute to honor the state and nation’s military, police, fire fighters and first responders, Gov. Joe Manchin today announced that he will participate in the Summersville Freedom Motorcycle Rally, Saturday, Aug. 15. The governor also encouraged fellow motorcyclists across the state to join him for the event.
“I look forward to this annual event because it is a great opportunity to pay tribute to the men and women who put a lot on the line to ensure our safety and freedom each day,” Manchin said. “The individuals and volunteers who come together each year to make this motorcycle ride and event a success, do so out of admiration and respect for the men and women in uniform who proudly serve our country.”
