 Governor Issues Statement About the Passing of Steve Goodwin 

4/21/2010  Gov. Joe Manchin today released the following statement after learning about the passing of attorney Steve Goodwin:

“I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Steve Goodwin.  Steve was one of the most honorable men that I have met and I considered him a dear friend.  He was a well-respected professional in the legal community and was extremely generous with his time, knowledge and expertise when asked to take on public service.  

“Steve’s passing is a tremendous loss.  Gayle and I extend our deepest condolences to his wife Ellen, his children: Carte, Aly, Ryan and the entire Goodwin family.  They will be in our thoughts and prayers.”
