 Governor Orders State Flags Lowered In Memory Of Nicholas County Delegate Argento

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Gov. Joe Manchin has ordered all state flags displayed at state facilities lowered to half-staff the entire day of Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, to commemorate the distinguished life and service of Del. Sam Argento.

“Sam was a committed and admirable representative not just for the 35th District, but for all of West Virginia,” said Manchin. “Gayle and I are deeply saddened of his passing and we’ll continue to pray for his wife, Connie, and their three children. This great loss will certainly be felt throughout Nicholas County and by many others across our state.”

Services are scheduled for Saturday, 11 a.m., at St. John’s Catholic Church in Summersville.
