Today Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin joined West Virginia Department of Commerce Secretary Keith Burdette and Chief Operating Officer of NCO Group, Inc. Jack Jones in announcing that NCO Group, Inc. ("NCO"), a leading provider of business processing services, will hire approximately 90 new associates in its Charleston, W.Va., contact center. The hiring will substantially expand NCO's presence in Charleston and also includes over $350,000 of new investments in equipment and training.
"We are pleased that NCO has chosen to create new jobs and expand its workforce here in West Virginia," said Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin. "This announcement testifies to the confidence the company has in the quality and productivity of West Virginia employees."
Employment opportunities will largely include positions providing direct customer service support for one of NCO's leading utility clients. Additional roles will also be available for managers, trainers, and supervisors. Positions are full-time and include a complete employment benefit package. Using a dynamic range of communication channels such as phone, email and text messaging, associates will learn and apply skills in areas of customer care and support.
