CHARLESTON, W.Va – On Friday, April 1st, Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin will be joined by children and their parents as he signs HB 2693, which requires insurance companies to offer insurance coverage of autism related services.
“I fully recognize the importance of this piece of legislation and the positive impact it will have for children with Autism and the relief it gives their parents,” Gov. Tomblin said. “I am so pleased that West Virginia will be the 25th state to require autism related services be a part of insurance coverage available for families.”
Along with HB 2693, Gov. Tomblin is also scheduled to sign several other pieces of legislation.
