Statement From The Governor Regarding The Resignation Of WVU BOG Member Steve Goodwin

Gov. Joe Manchin today released the following statement upon learning of West Virginia University Board of Governors member Steve Goodwin’s resignation:
“Steve Goodwin has given much of his time and energy to WVU as a Board of Governors member for more than seven years. I applaud his steadfast commitment to promoting this institution; he has truly made a positive impact as a member and as former chairman.”
“Steve leaves the board with a legacy of dedication and with a willingness to bring people together to move WVU forward. He was a true asset to the board and I sincerely appreciate his service. I wish him only the best of luck.”
