 Statement from the Governor about the passing of Joseph P. Albright 

3/21/2009  Gov. Joe Manchin released this statement today after learning of the passing of West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals Justice Joseph P. Albright:

"I served with Joe Albright in the West Virginia House of Delegates and, throughout his career, he fought feverishly to make our state a better place. I am honored to have known him and to have called him my friend. We had spoken recently and I know that he was eager to return to the Court. His desire to serve the state and its people was unparalleled.
