A bluegrass concert in a dinner theater format featuring Everett Lilly and the Lilly Mountaineers will be available on Saturday, Jan. 31, at
Hawks Nest State Park. “If the Hunting and Fishing Show at the Charleston Civic Center or the Super Bowl aren’t playing your song this weekend, we’ve got some great bluegrass music at Hawks Nest Lodge with the Lilly Mountaineers,” says Willa Grafton, event coordinator.
Musicians for this dinner performance include: Everett Lilly, mandolin and fiddle; Daniel Lilly, bass guitar; Everett A. Lilly, guitar; Mark Lilly, fiddle; and West Virginia banjo champion Rad Lewis.
Lilly Mountaineer Dinner Theater overnight package for two is $162 and includes lodging, dinner and breakfast and the performance.
Hawks Nest is located in Ansted in Fayette County. A year-round destination, the park features a lodge, restaurant, picnic shelters, nature center, and special events. The picturesque view from the lodge aerial tram or from the area developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s has welcomed visitors and photographers to one of West Virginia’s most outstanding view sheds.
