Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum: through April 19, Wheeling.

The Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum in Wheeling will be hosting the temporary exhibit "Making Winter BEARable.” The exhibit, which runs from Jan. 12 thru April 19, 2009, features many teddy bears from the collections of Leona Miller and the late Joan Bealer. These delightful bears are from manufacturers such as Steiff, Boyds, Ganz and Knickerbocker. It's a wonderful exhibit for the kids! The Kruger Street Toy & Train Museum is currently open Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the final tour starting at 4 p.m. each day. West Virginia Hunting and Fishing Show: Jan. 30-Feb. 1, Charleston.

Organized by the West Virginia Trophy Hunters Association, the West Virginia Hunting and Fishing Show brings hunters and fishermen in contact with organizations that can provide them with goods and services related to these activities. Hours are Friday, Jan. 30 from noon - 9 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 31 from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 1 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission is $6 for adults, $1 for children age 6 to 12 and free for children under 6. Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra performs "An Irish Pops Concert":  Feb. 8, Charleston.

From Ireland, this 95-piece Dublin Philharmonic Orchestra presents "An Irish Pops Concert" Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at 3 p.m. at the Municipal Auditorium in Charleston. Vocal and instrumental soloists accompany the Dublin Philharmonic to make this concert memorable. Tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for full-time students.

 Ragamala Music and Dance Theater's SVA: Feb. 16: Shepherdstown.

Ragamala Music and Dance Theater presents SVA ("Vital Force") with feature soloist Aparna Ramaswamy and guest artist Waidaiko Ensemble Tokara of Japan on Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. The production will be held at the Frank Center Theater at Shepherdstown University. Ragamala bridges the gap between ancient and modern cultures, exploring a unique style of living poetry for the stage. Performance followed by a Q-and-A format with the artists.
