Nearly $5M in ARC funding awarded for water infrastructure projects throughout West Virginia


Nearly $5 million has been awarded by the Appalachian Regional Commission to help fund water infrastructure projects in the Mountain State.

ARC is a partnership between the federal government and several state governments that aims to promote economic development in the region. 

“ARC’s investments water and wastewater systems directly benefit the region’s economic development, public health and natural resource protection,” said ARC Federal Co-Chair Gayle Manchin. “The many water and wastewater projects we're supporting in West Virginia will open up land for new development, allow new and existing businesses to expand, and help create and retain jobs to help our communities thrive.”
