$1B broadband investment to focus on unserved

West Virginia residents have heard promises in the past of improved internet speeds and expanded availability for those who didn’t have it.

The complaint from state residents is that the result of those promises has been those already with internet access got better access. Those who didn’t remained left on the side of the information superhighway.

This time, state officials say, will be different. West Virginians without broadband access will receive it, and there are several aspects of the state’s latest plan that will make sure that happens.
