Steven Webb, a native son of West Virginia, has always considered West Virginia home. Born and raised in Beckley, he now operates two floral companies dedicated to preserving the longevity of his hometown.
Webb is a graduate of West Virginia University and the University of Charleston, with English and history degrees. He later received floral training from the Cincinnati School of Floral Design. But after stints in Ohio and Michigan, Webb knew that he “always wanted to be back home.”
In 1994, Webb purchased Snow Thornton Florists, and in 1997, Dias Floral Company. Like his desire to become a home-based entrepreneur, Snow Thornton Florists has been owned and operated by West Virginia natives since 1918. Their more than 100 years of experience in the Raleigh County area is something Webb is most proud to share with others.
