Bridgeport musician excited to finally release third album

After being delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Bridgeport native and resident Annie Neeley released her third Americana/folk album in September.

“We recorded the album live with all of the musicians in the recording studio playing at the same time on the weekend of July 20, 2019. In Spring 2020, we put on some backing vocals and percussion, and then COVID-19 hit. COVID-19 slowed it down by about a year, but I’m grateful it’s come out and myself and my family have remained healthy.

“It always takes longer than you think it’s going to when there’s not a pandemic, but when you add it in, it added a year-plus,” Neeley said.
