Charleston to host lighted boat parade


Come join a festive evening along the banks of the Great Kanawha River. Charleston’s Lighted Boat Parade will take place  Saturday, December 9, at 6:30 p.m.

Boats decorated with Christmas lights will start at the Patrick Street Bridge and make their way up river. There will be a quick stop at the Elk River confluence, then the boats will continue upriver making a turn around at the Capitol Complex before returning to the Charleston Levee/Haddad Riverfront Park.
