Coopers Rock offers once-in-a-lifetime views, experiences in north central West Virginia



MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WV News) — On top of its 12,000 acres of campgrounds, trails and beautiful views, Coopers Rock State Forest is set to soon receive stargazing cabins and additional campsites, making the location even more of a can’t-miss tourist destination than it already is.

Currently, Coopers Rock has a total of 50 campsites on its two campgrounds, half of which feature electrical hookups and Wi-Fi at McCollum Campground and the other half consisting of primitive sites at the Rhododendron Campground.
