Local restaurant Da Vinci’s will be hosting a visit from America’s Best Restaurants in late October 2022.
Open since 1980, Da Vinci’s is an icon in the Williamstown area. Originally owned by Jim and Marilyn Pettit, the restaurant is now owned and operated by Chris Bender, who worked for the Pettits for 30 years as a server and then manager before buying the establishment.
“[I love] the people, the interaction with not only the customers but the employees; the people that you meet and their stories, she said.
Bender also notes that the consistency of the food is one of the best things about the restaurant. The menu is classic Italian. Spaghetti Mona Lisa is a favorite, as is the trademarked German Pizza, which features horseradish sauce, corned beef and sauerkraut.
