Primarily located in Latin America, Oktana was drawn to West Virginia because of its sense of home. Oktana is a software developer within the information technology industry that provides custom app development. The company specializes in design, implementation, optimization, and integration to Salesforce, including Heroku and MuleSoft. In January of 2020, they opened their first onshore development office in Downtown Charleston, West Virginia.
“What we find in West Virginia is that West Virginians love West Virginia,” said General Manager Julia Barrett, Oktana. “We’re really happy to be here, providing jobs to people who want to be here and who are excited that we’re here.”
