Amanda McDaniel, co-owner of Shenandoah Planing Mill, explains how she has been successful as a business owner and maintaining a family in Jefferson County.

“This is an area that has resources, it has access to transit, it has good people that are willing to work. There’s talented businesses that are willing to work with you. … There’s a lot of resources here that are readily available and access to them can easily be found through collaboration with the JCDA,” she said.
