Stone Tower Joe buys old 84 Lumber Building in Fairmont, West Virginia

5/24/2022

Popular local coffee company Stone Tower Joe has purchased the old 84 Lumber building in Country Club Plaza in Fairmont, and officials have plans to turn the property into a roastery and restaurant.

Stone Tower Joe currently has three locations: The Joe in Fairmont and Stone Tower Brews in Bridgeport and Buckhannon. The company supports these three businesses, as well as wholesale distribution, with a small roastery in downtown Fairmont.

“Phase one is doing some work to the walls and getting it up to code for the health department and stuff before we can actually start manufacturing in here and doing coffee roasting,” Daniel said. “That’s the first thing we’ll do, just to give us more space to support more shops. Right now, at our current space, we’re not big enough.”
