Three run, walk events to be offered as Charleston Winter Series makes return

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — Healthy activities are being offered to help combat those calorie-laden meals everyone will be eating during the holidays.

The Charleston Winter Series will be returning, with running and walking options during a total of three events in December, January and February, according to a news release from the city of Charleston.

Races and walks will be conducted at 2 p.m. on the following dates at these distances:

Dec. 11, 5K run/3K walk

Jan. 15, 8K run/4K walk

Feb. 12, 10K run/5K walk
