West Virginia has been putting a lot of money into its State Park system and it’s been paying off. They’ve put around $87.1 million into various big projects.

They used the money for different things, but most of it went to necessary repairs. A lot of the buildings in the parks had things that were old or not working well. These repairs had been waiting for a long time because there wasn't enough money before.

Even though these repairs aren't usually talked about much, they're really important for the parks to work the way they should. There were also some fun projects that they did. One of them was building a top-notch mountain bike trail at Cacapon Resort State Park. They also built new cabins in a few parks and created more places for people to camp.
