The West Virginia Science Bowl (WVSB) Regional Coordinating Committee is pleased to announce that the 2022 field for the WVSB middle and high school competitions is set! The National Science Bowl is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy and features a tournament-style academic competition challenging students in the fields of science and mathematics.
To protect the health and safety of all, the 2022 West Virginia Science Bowl will be a virtual competition conducted through the Zoom conferencing platform. Although we are unable to conduct a face-to-face contest due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) is nonetheless preparing an engaging competition that will both inspire and challenge participants.
