YNST Magazine aims to broadcast print & digital content that connects creatives in and from Appalachia to the rest of the world.
“I was doing a bunch of things simultaneously at West Virginia University, and I was seeing first-hand the incredible musicians, theater makers, designers, and dancers that were at the University, and I was astounded by the level of talent that was alive in West Virginia,” says editor-in-chief Adam Payne.
“Simultaneously, I was working at the WVU Launchlab for five years and was seeing first-hand all the incredible small businesses and startups that were coming out of West Virginia. At the same time I was like How are people not seeing this! So, we decided to start a new publication.”
